The position

Job description

As Chief of Staff Intern, you will work directly alongside the CEO during a pivotal fundraising and growth phase for the company. This is a high-responsibility, high-exposure role at the heart of Kumulus’ most critical strategic priorities.

Fundraising & Investor Relations

  • Review, maintain, and continuously improve the data room, ensuring all materials are accurate and investor-ready

  • Contribute to key funding documents including the financial model, pitch deck, and executive summaries

  • Attend investor meetings and negotiations alongside the CEO

  • Own follow-ups and help manage the fundraising pipeline end-to-end

Grant & Public Funding Applications

  • Identify relevant public funding opportunities, grants, and innovation programs (French, European, and international)

  • Lead application processes, manage timelines, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to assemble submission materials

CEO Support & Company Operations

  • Act as an extension of the CEO in day-to-day operations but also in strategic thinking

  • Track team deliverables and follow up on key action items across all ongoing projects

  • Support cross-functional project management across sales, deployment, and product workstreams


Preferred experience

  • Student or graduate from a tier-one engineering or business school

  • Hard skills: Financial modelling and PowerPoint skills

  • Soft skills: Team player, self-motivated person with an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Languages: Fluent in English and French

  • Previous internship experiences in fast-growing start-ups, audit/strategy/M&A firms or in corporate strategy departments are a strong plus


Recruitment process

  • HR screening interview : 30-minute call to review background, motivation, availability and basic fit with the role and company

  • Case Study : Take home or live business case designed to assess financial modelling and strategic thinking skills

  • Final interview with the CEO : 45–60-minute interview with our CEO Iheb to discuss experience, way of working, and expectations on both sides
