Job description

Join Kumulus Water as a Business Development Intern and help take clean drinking water solutions to new markets. You will research opportunities, contact decision makers, support key accounts and shape go-to-market plans while learning from a fast-growing, international team working across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

This isn’t a coffee-fetching internship. You’ll be working on real business deals, driving market expansion, and helping shape the future of water access. If you’re ready to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identifying Business Opportunities: Researching and mapping out new markets, industries, and partnerships for Kumulus to break into.

  • Sales & Outreach: Reaching out to decision-makers, pitching our solution, and setting up high-impact meetings.

  • Supporting Key Accounts: Assisting in managing existing partnerships and ensuring our clients get maximum value from our machines.

  • Strategic Growth Projects: Whether it’s building a go-to-market plan for a new country, refining our sales pitch, or analyzing competitor strategies, you’ll be contributing directly to our growth.

  • Representing Kumulus: At industry events, trade shows, and meetings, you’ll be the face of an innovative start-up transforming the water industry.

  • Bringing Ideas to the Table: If you see a smarter way to grow, you’ll have the freedom to propose, test, and execute.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Be part of a high-growth startup: You’ll gain hands-on experience scaling an international business.

  • Work on real deals: This isn’t a theoretical internship—you’ll be working on live partnerships and sales.

  • Shape the future of water: Your work will directly contribute to solving one of the world’s biggest challenges.

  • Autonomy & ownership: You’ll have real responsibilities and the freedom to take initiative.

  • Global exposure: You’ll interact with partners across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

  • Learn from the best: You’ll work directly with our leadership team and gain mentorship from top-tier professionals.

Preferred experience

Who You Are

  • You’re a natural deal-maker. You love talking to people, negotiating, and making things happen.

  • You’re proactive. You don’t wait to be told what to do—you take action. If you need micromanagement, this isn’t for you.

  • You think fast & solve problems. Business development is all about adapting. You’re quick on your feet and love finding creative solutions.

  • You’re a strong communicator. Whether it’s pitching to a CEO or writing a follow-up email, you know how to get your message across.

  • You’re fluent in french & english. Spanish or Arabic is a bonus.

  • You’re studying business, sales, or a related field. Master’s student or recent graduate preferred, but attitude matters more than your degree.

  • You’re excited to work in a fast-paced start-up. We move fast. You should thrive in a high-energy, high-impact environment.
