Role & Missions
As a Sourcing Manager, your role is key.
On a daily basis, you will hunt for F&V concentrates raw materials discarded by industry, mainly in Europe, but also across the rest of the EMEA region.
Using our dedicated tools and your ability to interact with new partners at fairs, networking events, factory visits, prospecting sessions, etc., you will succeed by helping industrial players valorize their leftovers and other by-products while developing large business opportunities.
Beyond strong interpersonal skills, this position requires knowledge of industrial processes, food engineering, manufacturing best practices, and natural abilities in B2B strategy.
You will focus on the early stages of our supplier lifecycle, specifically mapping, prioritizing, and sampling products. As the first point of contact with suppliers, you must also position Hubcycle effectively for future collaboration, while maintaining a down-to-earth approach with your industry partners.
The role also involves mastering the negotiation process, including positioning, closing, and delivering a strong B2B user experience in complex environments. Paying particular attention to supplier constraints will enable you to achieve your objectives.
This position requires strong dedication to problem-solving and the ability to build excellent working relationships.
You will be in constant communication with all company teams to ensure customer satisfaction and the achievement of objectives.
As an expert, you will build loyalty and develop your supplier portfolio, while ensuring the quality of deliverables and the growth of your product portfolio.
The team around you
You will be supported by the Head of Sourcing on technical sourcing aspects and by the Global Category Manager on product-specific knowledge and expertise. The team around you also includes category experts who will provide you with the knowledge and direction needed to become fully effective in a short period of time.
Leveraging your teammates in sales, quality, product development, logistics, and finance will also be key to succeeding in this role.
