As part of a new research and innovation project, our Cross-product pole is looking to hire a Project Engineer/PMO Junior to support conception and control activities to ensure the success of project phases. The position is available in Toulouse, as part of an apprenticeship contract.

You will work as part of the Systems team’s Cross-product division, which is mainly involved in : 

  • Studying the needs and operational concepts of our various products, and ideally identifying solutions.

  • Framing cross-platform projects to be implemented (planning, priorities, teams involved), aligning with the business roadmaps of our Product teams.

  • Supporting technical solution specification with the help of our System Engineers and Developers.

  • Monitoring and implementing resources for deployment and testing projects on customer sites.

As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a Project Manager and contribute to the team’s activities

Missions

Support the management of a European research project with external partners, while coordinating the internal development of our autonomous transport system platforms with the R&D and product teams.

Your key responsibilities are :

  • Produce activity reports, participate in task and schedule monitoring and set up activity budget monitoring.

  • Coordinate all project stakeholders and lead steering committees

  • Collaborate with other engineer, developer, product manager to ensure successful project completion

  • Document and communicate project progress, results, and findings to other partner and funders

  • Support the technical and design reviews of requests for information (RFIs), value engineering change proposal, and new product specifications and requirements.

  • Support with development of operational tooling and document management

  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and other learning opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

This position is based in Toulouse at our head offices, and you will collaborate very closely cross-functionally with the EasyMile Teams, as well as with an international partnership landscape.

We’re seeking a true all-rounder:

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree, preferably in engineering or a related field, with a specialization in project management.

  • Ideally, you have previous successful experience in software project management, demonstrating a solid understanding of planning and budgeting issues.

  • Experience in European research and innovation projects would be appreciated.

  • You have a genuine interest for autonomous transportation solutions and project lifecycle management, regardless of methodology (V-cycle, agile, hybrid).

  • Strong communication, listening, and expressive skills (both written and oral) are essential, facilitating effective dialogue with multiple stakeholders. Proficiency in French (C1 level) and English (B2 level) is required.

  • Motivated and capable of working autonomously, taking initiative, and collaborating effectively within a team.
