The position

Job description

Join our Innovation team, composed of 7 engineers and our product designer Aurélien.

As our frontend technical leader, you will drive the evolution of our frontend architecture and set the standards for how we build user interfaces at Primo. You’ll work closely with Aurélien to translate designs into exceptional user experiences.

You will handle frontend architecture decisions, code reviews, mentoring other engineers on frontend best practices, and production support.

We are close to achieving product market fit for our three existing modules, but core and delightful features remain to deliver; Rome wasn’t built in a day.

  • MDM:

    What we are building : The best in class MDM tools, multiple platforms with AI automation at core.

    Upcoming early 2026 : Integrate more platforms (linux, android) with stronger and deeper controls. Software patching and update are also planned.

  • SaaS Management:

    What we are building : we are building the all-in-one tool to manage all you SaaS (account creation, deletion, finance and licence management, shadow IT scanning, access request, device posture and SaaS blocking, etc…)

    Upcoming early 2026 : Shadow IT scanning using our Chrome Extension, SaaS usages, access right alerting, task management workflows

  • Global Purchasing:

    What we are building : a one-stop shop for all your HR IT needs. Being able to deliver in a short amount of time a laptop (and accessories) anywhere in the world, with preconfigured system and security (ZeroTouch deployment).

    Upcoming early 2026 : a technical redesign of our catalog and ordering system to offer a low-maintenance, low ops and reliable experience in multiple countries (OECD).

  • AI:

    AI isn’t just a feature—it’s at the core of our product. Every project listed above includes a connector (MCP) to our internal AI assistant from day one. Using best-in-class LLM models (Claude, OpenAI), we strongly believe AI will dramatically change how IT management tasks are performed in every company. By embedding AI deeply into our product, we aim to be the best company in our space at extracting value from this transformative technology.

  • Frontend Stack:

    • Core: React, TypeScript

    • Backend integration: GraphQL, REST

    • Tooling: Github, Github Actions, Linear

    • Monitoring: Datadog, PostHog

    • Backend (for context): Node.js, NestJS, Prisma, MongoDB, Redis

    • Infra (for context): AWS & Terraform


Preferred experience

You should join if

  • You have several years of experience building and scaling reliable infrastructure, preferably in a SaaS startup environment, and you thrive on operational excellence.

  • You work from first principles, always seeking for simple solution and pragmatism.

  • You are fluent in AWS, Terraform (Infrastructure as Code), and have strong expertise in observability and monitoring practices. You stay current with the latest infrastructure technologies and best practices.

  • You have a strong understanding of our tech stack (Node.js, MongoDB, Redis) and can work effectively with engineering teams to optimize performance and reliability.

  • As a true infrastructure leader, you balance reliability and velocity—you know when to build robust solutions and when speed is essential.

  • You are an excellent communicator with strong convictions and the ability to share your knowledge effectively. You excel at working collaboratively with engineering teams and can translate complex infrastructure concepts into clear guidance.
