The position

Job description

We are looking for a backend engineer (or fullstack) to strengthen our technical team.

Technical stack:

  • Backend: Go, Ruby, Rails, Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, S3

  • Frontend: React, Redux, GraphQL

  • Infrastructure / DevOps: AWS, Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, CircleCI, Git/Github

We have an agile (Scrum / XP / 12-factor), innovation and quality oriented, DevOps culture.

The team is responsible for the implementation of a very ambitious product / technical / R&D roadmap over the next few years, with strong development expected.

Within a project team, associated with a Product Owner (PO), you will be in charge of the design, development and continuous improvement of backend services.

You will contribute to the improvement of the technical stack of the backend team, participate in R&D, and continuously train (online, conferences).


Preferred experience

You are an engineer with significant experience in a development team.

You want to be part of an ambitious start-up, which wants to revolutionize the management of maritime transport with innovative technologies and products.

You have an excellent mindset, you are positive, autonomous and creative.

You are technically excellent, you combine simplicity and rigor.

You do not know everything, but you have the ability and desire to learn.

You contribute to the collective intelligence and to the increase of the technical knowledge of the company.

Ideally,

You have a good knowledge of systems and cloud infrastructure, you are comfortable with a production environment, you are responsible (owner).

You know microservice architectures, event sourcing / CQRS.

You have a good level of English.
