Here is where your greatest challenge awaits you:
Within the Data domain, the Data Platform Tribe is responsible for integrating all tools and services related to data ingestion, storage, preparation, exposure, and governance, as well as the security layers and monitoring of data flows. Its mission is to provide Data teams with access to tools and services that ensure autonomy in building and operating their applications.
Your mission:
As a Senior Product Owner for the Exposure & Sandbox Feature Team, part of the Data Platform Tribe, your product portfolio will include the Accor Data Portal, data transformation and exposure tools, monitoring and supervision tools for data flows, and cross-functional data products (such as cost-benefit analysis tools in both "data as a product" and data visualization formats).
For the Feature Team's scope, you will translate the product strategy defined by the Tribe Product Lead into a product catalog and service offering of the Data Platform—ensuring secure, optimized access to quality data while meeting key goals of tool rationalization and interoperability. You will be expected to propose improvements to the catalog, promote the products, and measure their adoption.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Define an ambitious and clear product vision aligned with the business and data strategy. Communicate this vision effectively to stakeholders, the feature team, and the tribe.
Ensure secure, automated, unified, and auditable access to data.
Work closely with the Tribe Lead to collect and structure business needs and feedback and ensure interoperability with other platform components.
Collaborate with internal data stakeholders (Data Product Value Manager, Tech Leads, other Feature Team POs, Tribe Leads, Architecture, Data Governance) to ensure a cohesive vision across the Data Platform.
Communicate effectively to secure stakeholder buy-in.
Manage one or more POs within your Feature Team’s product portfolio (e.g., Data Portal).
Maintain a backlog with 3 to 4 sprints of planning in advance.
Plan and communicate product releases, and organize demos for key stakeholders.
Ensure alignment between product development and defined product vision.
Define and monitor KPIs to measure the performance of delivered increments and adjust backlog priorities accordingly.
Monitor production incidents and requests with the Tech Lead (e.g., tickets, metrics) and coordinate resolutions within the team.
Challenge business requests based on expected value and product vision in close collaboration with the Tribe Lead.
Use clear, functional language to ensure understanding of data and data platform issues.
