Main tasks of a senior associate in XAnge are:
Sourcing
• Sourcing of investment opportunities
• Conducting proactive deep dives on 3-4 topics a year
• Maintaining strategic network of dealflow sources (incubators, other funds business angels)
Qualification
• Deal flow analysis and selection of investment opportunities in France and Benelux.
• Presenting several opportunities with key elements on our Monday meeting
• Deep dive in investment opportunities with a partner/principal: meeting with entrepreneurs, due diligence with experts, presentation of memos in front of the investment committee
Deal making
• Management of internal investment process
• Support of partner/principal in the deal making: LOI negotiation, due diligence, legal documentation, relation with back and middle office
Deal following and exit
• Support of partner/principal in the deal following: Board preparation, internal reporting, support to the startup (budget, business plan, fundraising, recruitment …)
• Support of partner/principal in the deal exit
Transversal tasks
• XAnge ambassador in startup events and media
• Transversal tasks related to the company management: intern recruitment, management and training, LP and startup success, fundraising, marketing …
The objective is to become an “autonomous” investor (i.e principal) in 2 to 3 years

• Master’s in business management or engineering
• 2 to 4 years experience in startups or VC industry
• Good understanding of digital industries and its business model
• Curious about tech
• Strong analytical skills and data driven mindset
• Empathy and capacity to listen
• Integrity with critical mind
• Empathique, à l’écoute
• Good writing skill and synthetic mindset
• Agile with digital tools (we love Pipedrive, Trello, Notion, Airtable and Zapier !)
• Fluent in English and French. German is cool too !
