We’re a growing team, and as we scale, so does our need to focus on expanding our Professional Services team. You’ll be joining a people-focused company, and as a Senior Director EMEA, Professional Services you play an instrumental role in leading our EMEA Professional Services organization to carry out their mission of turning customers into fans during the onboarding and refinement phases of the customer journey where you will manage a field delivery team and a portfolio of active delivery projects. At the same time, meeting revenue and profit expectations for the service delivery business. You will be a change agent and champion for transforming our delivery team from a requirement led service delivery model to a product led SaaS delivery model. You will partner with your peers to ensure successful handoffs from sales to delivery and delivery to support with the joint mission to create an exceptional customer experience that drives positive business outcomes for the customer.

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Leadership and Strategy: Lead the Professional Services organization to transform our service delivery, focusing on customer satisfaction during all phases of their journey, and steer the transition towards a product-led SaaS delivery model.
  • Operational Management: Manage the Professional Services delivery business across your region, including financial forecasting, revenue, margins, and aligning operational practices with our strategic goals towards a product-led SaaS framework.
  • Project and Portfolio Oversight: Assume full responsibility for the health, steering, and management of your region’s project portfolio. Take charge of evaluating, prioritizing, and managing the project portfolio, ensuring all projects are delivered successfully and contribute to the revenue and strategic objectives of the company.
  • Support of Sales Process: Collaborate closely with Sales to drive solution sales and enhance customer relationships. Your primary focus will be on existing customers, ensuring their successful adoption of our products and services by identifying areas for improvement and upselling additional services while maximizing revenue for the department. Participate in deal approvals, ensuring alignment with company policies and customer expectations.
  • Team and Collaboration: Oversee a multifaceted team of professionals, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in service delivery.
  • Innovation and Advocacy: Champion change and promote the adoption of innovative practices that enhance service delivery and customer outcomes, advocating for the effective use of technology and data in our processes.
  • Financial Forecasting: Leverage your team while partnering with the Vendavo eco-system to meet quarterly and annual targets for revenue and margin. Be prepared to report results and give forward-looking guidance to the SLT.
  • Other duties as assigned.

THE SKILL SET

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered. M.B.A. preferred.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in professional services with a focus on complex software implementations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage cross-functional projects/relationships, and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Strong business acumen with the capability to engage effectively with C-suite executives, possessing excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and analytical abilities, with a proven track record of managing teams across different geographies.
