Position Overview
TiHive’s current generation of cameras integrates embedded processing components such as FPGAs and microcontrollers, alongside analog acquisition and control chains including DACs and ADCs. As an intern/apprentice, you will contribute to the improvement and prototyping of our next-generation imaging systems.
Your Missions:
Under the supervision of our engineering team, you will:
Analyze and study the Terahertz imaging system from RF, analog, and digital perspectives.
Design, prototype, and test analog and digital circuits for signal amplification, filtering, and digitization.
Evaluate the feasibility of integrating key functionalities into a high-performance STM32 microcontroller or FPGA.
Collaborate closely with the hardware, software, and product teams to optimize the camera’s performance (e.g., form factor, power consumption) and cost efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a motivated and rigorous individual who is passionate about embedded electronics and eager to learn in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical abilities, a collaborative mindset, and a high level of professional ethics. Specifically, you bring:
Solid understanding of RF, analog electronics, and embedded systems
Experience with STM32 microcontroller ecosystem and/or FPGA platforms
Familiarity with analog components and peripherals (e.g., operational amplifiers, DACs, ADCs)
Knowledge of communication protocols and interfaces (e.g., SPI, Ethernet, TCP/IP stack)
Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python
Experience in schematic design and PCB layout
Skills in hardware/firmware testing and debugging
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Strong communication skills and ability to document technical work clearly
A strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and commitment to quality
EU work eligibility is required
