With a growing team and a growing number of projects, the Data Management in TheraPanacea has become a key position. As Data Manager intern, you will help the Data Management team in its various missions and mainly collaborate with the AI team that creates new AI tools to improve the company’s products, and the Clinical analyst team which defines the features of the product.

You will work in the heart of Paris (the company has offices at Bastille metro station), in a very international and dynamic environment (10+ nationalities), with expert teams in oncology, neuroscience, artificial intelligence (statistical and deep learning, digital optimisation) or medical imaging.

The assignments will be varied and will focus on the following themes:

• Structure and improve the R&D databases

• Medical data analysis

• Improvement of data visualisation tools for other teams

• Data collection/cleaning/classification for training of AI algorithms or for other purposes

• Generation of specific datasets for studies carried out by research teams

• Creation of new tools to improve teams’ efficiency

• Potential travel and work on the partner’s premises for data collection

Profile: Master degree Candidate in Engineering or in Computer science (French Bac +4/+5 cursus). We are looking for a 6 months internship. Final-year internship or gap-year internship (stage de césure ou de fin d’études).

Required skills and soft-skills:

• Knowledge of the following programming languages: Python, SQL

• Experience and/or high motivation to work in a medical environment and in a start-up

• Good algorithmic skills

• Autonomy, rigorous, curious and analytical skills

• Good communication skills

• Flexible and a good capacity to adapt to new challenges

• High motivation to work in the radiotherapy (or neuroscience) environment

Bonus skills (not required):

• Code optimisation (memory, efficiency)

• Knowledge about Sqlalchemy and database architecture

• DevOps skills, containerisation

• Mastering Linux shell

• Medical data format: DICOM, Nifti, etc

• Knowledge in other IT language and librairies (C++, React, HTML, CSS, …)

• Knowledge or understanding about deep learning and/or computer vision. An application of these techniques in a medical context would be appreciated.
