We are looking for a quality driven and innovative Economic Designer to join our highly motivated and experienced Ecosystem Tribe. You will be part of the DeFi Squad committed to to research, develop and introduce safe and innovative DeFi mechanics to our users, using our ecosystem tokens.

What you’ll be doing

• Review the needs and objectives with the DeFi Product Owner.
• Design and balance economic mechanics within The Sandbox DeFi ecosystem.
• Ensure economic viability of proposed models.
• Build tools and spreadsheets to simulate long term economic impact and iterate on them.
• Build tools or collaborate with the data team to ensure data-driven iterations and decisions.
• Constantly benchmark and be on the lookout for new features and protocols.

What are we looking for

• Economist background, solid affinity with Game Design.
• You have shipped at least one complete product with a successful economy
• Advanced Web3 & Smart Contracts knowledge.
• Advanced DeFi knowledge.
• Proficiency with Data analysis.
• Spreadsheets wizard.

You might also have

• SQL proficiency for autonomous on-chain data-tracking.
• Solidity proficiency to analyze new protocols and EIPs.
• You already worked on a UGC and/or circular economy product.
