Swan is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our best-in-class Finance team (4 people). The Accounting Manager will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing Swan’s financial health and compliance. This role focuses on managing accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and strengthening our internal control environment.

✨ Your mission

• Accounting Information Preparation (General Accounting): Perform daily accounting activities such as transaction booking, payments, reconciliations and controls.

• Monthly Closings: Perform closings and reconciliations, working closely with outsourced accountants (France, Spain, Germany, and the Netherlands) and team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time. Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial statements.

• Supplier Invoice Management (Payables): Oversee supplier invoices, ensuring timely payments, accurate analytic allocation, and reconciliated supplier accounts.

• Customer Invoicing Process Management (Receivables): Manage the invoicing process to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Collaborate with our sales team and our outsourced collection agency (Equilibre Finance) by following up with them on the overdue invoices.

• Banking Operations: Provide support to our Banking Operations team on accounting-related topics like reconciliation and resolving pending operations.

• Accounting Policies and Controls: Work with the Finance team to ensure that accounting policies, procedures, and controls are documented and up-to-date.

• Annual Audit & Tax: Lead our annual audit and tax filing process in relationship with our external auditor.

✨  Additional responsibilities

• Strategic Accounting Projects: Contribute to special accounting projects, such as: taking accounting in-house, implementing an ERP software, improving our Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash process, working with the Payment team.

• Finance Function Scalability: Assist in building a scalable and efficient Accounting Function. Drive continuous improvement of the Company’s accounting operations, including the development and execution of policies, procedures, and accounting system changes.

• Collaboration with Finance Team & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with the Finance team to provide analysis and key insights into monthly results. Manage relationships with our external accountants and other partners.

✨ You’re a great match if:

• You have 3-5 Years of experience, ideally having worked in an accounting firm (start-up experience is a plus, but not necessary).

• You’re rigorous and organized: your approach is meticulous, with a keen attention to detail in all aspects of your work.

• You’re autonomous and proactive: you know how to manage your priorities and are able to adapt to changing conditions.

• You embrace challenges: you’re enthusiastic about tackling complex tasks and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

• You’re tech-savvy: you’re already proficient or willing to become proficient with modern accounting tools. You like technology and automation.

• You have advanced Excel and Google Suite skills: you’re adept at using these tools to manipulate data and create detailed reports.

• You’re Fluent in English: You possess at least a C1 level in English, enabling effective communication in our international environment.
