As Finance and Admin Associate, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day operations and supporting the structuring of our admin & finance functions. You will work directly with the Chief of Staff and collaborate with external accountants, HR partners, and the broader team.
📊 Strategic Finance & Business Planning
Budget & Cost Control: Lead a dynamic budget cycle with quarterly reviews and adjustments, and implement variance analysis (actuals vs. budget vs. forecast) to drive accountability and data-driven decisions.
Business Planning: Build scenario-based financial models (best/base/downside cases), integrating variables to stress-test runway and funding needs.
Monthly Closing Discipline: Transform financial reporting to deliver updated P&L and balance sheets for management and investors.
💰 Revenue & Cash Flow Optimization
Automated Customer Billing: Deploy a scalable, automated billing system, ensuring accuracy, audit trails, and seamless scalability.
Expense management: Lead expense management by automating processes, optimizing costs, and ensuring compliance to strengthen budget discipline and support scalable growth.
Operational Performance Tracking: Develop a KPI dashboard beyond cash burn/runway, tracking operational metrics tied to the business model.
📦 Procurement
Standardize supplier qualification, vetting (quality, compliance, export control), and negotiate framework agreements for ground station hardware/software.
Streamline procurement workflows (RFQ, PO, approvals, delivery tracking) and deploy planning/tracking tools for parallel projects.
📝 Admin: Legal & HR
Intervene on legal and regulatory issues in project management mode to advance initial topics, such as obtaining ground station licenses.
Help build and scale HR by defining job structures and compensation, streamlining onboarding and feedback, and creating career pathways to foster a high-performing, engaged, and globally aligned team.
Master’s degree in Finance
2–4 years experience in finance & admin or a similar role
Prior experience in a startup or scale-up environment—specifically those who have supported growth from around 10 to 100 employees—in the tech sector
Comfortable with numbers, Excel, and financial workflows
Organized, reliable, and autonomous — you get things done
Curious and eager to improve processes
Fluent in English and French (written/spoken)
Bonus: experience with Notion, Google Workspace
