At our Siemens Foundational Technologies Development Center we are focused on a product development including software development, hardware development, mechanical design, and testing for the next generation concept of Industry 4.0.

We would like to invite you to cooperate on the development of industrial automation products. We focus on complete product development and integration across the entire automation system. We are currently seeking embedded C /C++ software developers interested in contributing to development of control systems.

Your task will be:

• Embedded software development in C and C++
• Clarification of requirements and development of unit tests
• Designing solutions in collaboration with the architect
• Debugging and fixing existing code
• Working with Git
• Creating documentation
• Collaboration in an international agile team

What we will appreciate from you:

• Technical education or adequate experience in the field
• Knowledge of C and/or C++
• Experience with development and debugging on embedded platforms
• Knowledge of code quality assurance principles
• Experience with the GIT versioning system
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such an advantage
• Willingness to work in a team
• Intermediate English language proficiency (B2)
