We are looking for a Music Merchandising & Editorial Intern to support the Music Merchandising team in the programming and editorial animation of the Southern Europe markets (Italy, Spain, Portugal) and Latin America (Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia).
You will join the Southern Europe & LATAM team, under the supervision of the Managing Director Southern Europe & LATAM, and work closely with the Music Merchandisers for Italy, Spain, Spanish-speaking LATAM, as well as Brazil and Portugal.
The internship takes place in France, with the possibility of partial remote work depending on organizational needs.
Your responsibilities
The role is structured around four main areas: music merchandising, editorial content, operational follow-up, and label relations & market monitoring.
1 - Music merchandising & playlists
Centralization and monitoring of release schedules provided by labels and distributors
Support in the weekly selection of new releases (albums, tracks)
Programming of new releases on the store and applications
Contribution to the promotion of featured albums and playlists
Assistance in the creation, duplication, and maintenance of playlists by genre and territory
Ordering and tracking promotional assets (banners, visuals, copy)
2 - Editorial support & content
Assistance with editorial writing: short texts, album descriptions, artist biographies
Formatting, integration, and publication of content in the CMS
Image research related to editorial content
3 * Operations & featured content follow-up
Coordination with internal teams regarding visual and content requests
Updating editorial tracking and reporting tools
Contribution to the smooth execution of editorial and promotional operations
4 - Label relations & market monitoring
Centralization of editorial priorities received from labels and distributors
Participation in the daily follow-up of label relations (emails, information sharing, follow-ups)
Contribution to the preparation of promotional proposals for upcoming releases
Ongoing market monitoring: local scenes, emerging artists, genre and territory trends
Skills & personal qualities
Excellent writing skills, with strong spelling and grammar
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
Very good level of English (written and spoken)
Spanish highly desired (ideally B2 minimum); Portuguese is a plus
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability
