About Qevlar AI

Qevlar is a B2B SaaS scale-up on a mission to boost the productivity of cybersecurity teams with Artificial Intelligence. We build an AI platform that transitions Security Operations Centers from reactive to proactive units through autonomous security alert investigations.

In just two years, we have:

  • Raised a $14m initial round from EQT Ventures and Forgepoint Capital

  • Deployed our solution with major Enterprises such as Sodexo and GlobalConnect, and leading MSSPs like Orange Cyberdefense

  • Expanded to the US market with a growing North American presence

  • Ended 2025 with a strong multi-million dollar ARR and ambitious goals for 2026

As our first Principal Engineer, you will own the technical direction of our platform as we scale.

What will you do

  • Own architecture decisions and long-term system design

  • Solve our hardest technical problems

  • Set engineering standards and drive technical quality across the codebase

  • Lead design reviews and be the tie-breaker on complex technical trade-offs

  • Mentor senior engineers and raise the technical bar of the team

  • Partner with the VP Engineering on balancing technical excellence with delivery speed

Who you are 

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in system design

  • Track record of owning architecture for products at scale

  • Experience working in fast-moving startups (Series A/B preferred)

  • Strong opinions on code quality, testing, and technical standards

  • Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across teams

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with LLM-based products or AI systems

  • Cybersecurity or security tooling background

  • Python and distributed systems expertise
