THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced HR Technology Project Manager to join our newly formed HR Technology, PMO, and Analytics organization. This team is shaping the way we deliver HR programs and technology, driving innovation, efficiency, and transformation across the employee lifecycle.
As a Project Manager, you’ll lead cross-functional initiatives that deliver scalable, integrated technology solutions for our global HR organization. You’ll work in a hub-and-spoke model, where the central HR Technology, PMO, and Analytics team (the hub) partners closely with functional HR teams across Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and People Operations (the spokes) to deliver consistent project governance, shared standards, and connected outcomes.
You’ll collaborate with Business Systems Analysts, Program Managers, Analysts, and HR business leaders to ensure projects are executed effectively, from initiation and planning through delivery and adoption. This is an incredible opportunity to help build the foundation for how HR projects are managed and delivered at scale.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and manage HR technology projects from concept to completion—defining scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, and success metrics.
- Partner with Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) to translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure effective implementation and testing.
- Collaborate with Program Managers and Analysts to align project plans with strategic priorities, capacity, and dependencies across the HR Tech roadmap.
- Operate within our hub-and-spoke model, ensuring alignment between central HR Technology and functional HR teams for cohesive execution and shared accountability.
- Manage project governance, stakeholder updates, and steering committees, ensuring transparency, accountability, and timely decisions.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and vendor partners—to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.
- Implement project management best practices, templates, and tools that will scale with our growing HR Technology portfolio.
- Support change management and adoption planning to ensure smooth transitions to new technologies and processes.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities within the HR Technology PMO framework.
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 5+ years of experience managing HR technology or enterprise system projects (Workday, ATS, CRM, or other HR platforms preferred).
- Proven track record leading multiple projects simultaneously in a matrixed global environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid approaches).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills—able to work across technical and business audiences.
- Experience working in partnership with HR, IT, and vendor teams to deliver scalable technology solutions.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
- PMP, Agile/Scrum, or Scaled Agile certification.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Pure Storage HR technology stack (e.g., Workday, Enboarder, ATS, CRM, Workforce Planning tools).
- Familiarity with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, or Tableau.
- Experience working in or alongside HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, or People Analytics functions.
