🚀 What You’ll Do

As an Engineering Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping both product and team outcomes:

🎯 Shape the Roadmap: Translate high-level product and business needs into clear engineering goals. Prioritize effectively and align the team around the “why.”

🧑‍💻 Lead by Example: Stay hands-on at a high level—review critical PRs, contribute to architecture discussions, and unblock complex technical decisions.

🌱 Coach & Support: Grow engineers through thoughtful feedback, career guidance, and continuous learning opportunities. Foster ownership and autonomy.

📦 Drive Delivery: Partner with Product to plan sprints, scope features, and manage changing priorities while maintaining quality and momentum.

🛡️ Balance Innovation & Maintenance: Champion clean, scalable systems while actively reducing tech debt. Advocate for strong foundations without slowing the pace.

🧠 Elevate Engineering Culture: Set a high bar for code quality, process efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration. Push for smarter tooling and better ways of working.

Requirements:

What we’re looking for

🧑‍💻 Must-Have Skills:

• 2+ years in engineering management with a track record of growing high-performing teams

• Strong technical foundation—you understand backend systems, architecture, and can guide deep technical discussions

• Product-driven mindset: you balance user needs with technical constraints

• Excellent communicator: can align stakeholders and keep the team motivated and focused

• Comfortable in high-intensity, fast-paced environments

🛠️ Hands-On Skills:

• 3+ years coding in Python or another OOP language

• Backend architecture: microservices, REST APIs, performance tuning

• Databases: PostgreSQL, data modeling, query optimization

• Git & CI/CD: confident navigating modern workflows

🧩 Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in B2B enterprise SaaS

• Familiarity with ERP or BaaS integrations

• Knowledge of serverless infrastructure (AWS), event-driven systems
