Your day at NTT DATA

At NTT DATA, you’ll be part of a finance team ensuring accurate, transparent, and timely reporting. As a Controlling Specialist, you will prepare critical financial statements, disclosures, and reports that support strategic decisions and regulatory compliance.

This role prepares cash flow statements, earning release calculations and all equity related disclosures.

We are looking for Czech and English speaking expert.

Key responsibilities:

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance (GAP) analyses. Ensure alignment with group timelines for closing and forecasting.

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and review financial statements, disclosures and audited reports, including cash flow. Analyze results versus expectations, identify improvement areas, and provide actionable recommendations to management.

• Compliance & Internal Controls: Support annual audits (group and local) and maintain strong internal controls by developing and documenting business processes and policies.

• Process & Tool Improvements: Drive initiatives to enhance, streamline, and automate reporting processes and tools to meet evolving business needs.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand key performance drivers and attend monthly business unit review meetings.

• Quality & Integrity: Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of financial data, ensuring timely, error-free documentation and safeguarding the integrity of reporting processes.

To thrive in this role, you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

• Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis (3+ years). IT Industry is a plus but not necessery.

• Proficiency in Excel and SAP, nice to have Power BI.

• Knowledge of accounting processes and procedures - demonstrable experience participating in the creation of financial reports.

• Experience with methods of systems analysis, the principles, design and procedural methods used in forecasting and data analysis.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results.

• Fluency in Czech and English.
