We are looking for a Plant Manager for our Operations team for the Lima, Peru plant!

You will be a key person to guarantee correct management around the plant operation, which will be decisive for our success. This is a position that will keep in touch with other areas such as Sales & Marketing, Finance & Administration, Human Resources in order to work as a team handling plant issues, process bottlenecks, cost management, people management and related items through indicators, engineering and others.

You will be a key person to guarantee and improve the performance of the cable factory of the Nexans operation in Peru, while being an ambassador of the quality of Nexans products and services.

Also, you will have the opportunity to work with many people committed to the company in various areas.

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

• Promote the development and compliance of occupational health and safety policies of its employees and subcontractors through the implementation of action plans aimed at the goal of Zero Accidents.
• Manage production results and related expenses to ensure operating profit targets are met.
• Manage support functions as a team to develop consistent objectives and functions for financial control, maintenance activities, process engineering, product development and quality control.
• Review production requests, customer purchase orders, tenders in order to analyze the actions to take to meet said requirements.
• Promote industrial excellence in all fields through world-class manufacturing techniques, adopting an attitude of continuous improvement and implementing Nexans Excellence Way methodologies.
• Maintain communication with sales networks and customers, as necessary, to ensure positive customer relationships and make informed decisions regarding production schedule changes and advancements.

YOUR STARTING POINTS WHEN YOU JOIN

• Education: Graduated in Industrial Engineering, others.
• Experience: Between 5 or 7 years of relevant experience in plant operations areas or companies related to energy, metal mechanics, construction.
• Other Knowledge: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001. Manufacture of conductors.
• Strong business analytical and problem-solving skills, and high sense of quality and on-time performance.
• Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
• Good communication and co-operation skills.
• Language: Advanced English (mandatory).
