👪 About the Operations team

You will be joining Paul-Louis (COO), Aiden (Head of Science), Laetitia (Head of Assessment Content and Candidate Experience), Mathilde (Assessment Content Project Manager) and Lucile & Elena (Onboarding & Customer Care Managers).

Most of their efforts are currently aiming at creating the best candidate assessment experience through a relevant and constantly improving test library, as well as to boost and support customer onboarding and adoption of Maki.

As Maki is gearing up for ever more exciting times and gathering more and more users, the Operations team will focus on deep-diving in their experience to understand what it takes to fuel their satisfaction and foster adoption, relying on the insights they can gather through Data.

💪 About your mission

As Data Analyst intern, you will be responsible for:

• Creating, monitoring and optimising dashboards and reports

• Performing targeted analysis for our customers on various topics

• Making data accessible to everyone at Maki to drive decision-making, including through clear documentation

  These missions will imply:

• Collaborating transversally with business teams, esp. Customer Onboarding and Care to identify needs for data-based insights and co-build relevant solutions

• Liaising with the Tech team to collect or surface additional data points

• Implementing and improving the data analytics stack (current stack: PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Hevo, Hightouch, Data Studio)

• Connecting various datasources and tools to perform analysis on extensive and growing sets of data around: Customers behavior, adoption and engagement, Candidates satisfaction taking assessments, Quality and psychometrical relevance of our tests.

Eventually as one of the early employee of Maki, you’ll be be able to shape the future of the team. We share as much ownership on the way we work and on the product itself as we can as we’re convinced our success is 99% due to our team.

• Programing - You are comfortable and autonomous using SQL (Python is a plus), in Big Query environment

• Data visualization - You are familiar with BI and data visualization tools (i.e. Data Studio)

• Analytical skills & business sense - You like solving problems, gathering and communicating insights in a clear manner, while paying attention to details, and you have a strong business sense

• You are fluent in French and have a strong level of English (oral and written)

Through the whole process, we will additionally let you to schedule a couple informal meetings with a few employees. These meetings will be a chance for you to familiarise yourself with our team, our motivations, and ask questions!
