The Market Intelligence department supports the Board of Executives as well as the Sales, Business Development, and Product Management teams by delivering market insights, opportunities, leads, and industry trends to enable informed tactical and strategic decision‑making. L‑Acoustics is seeking an intern for a 6‑month assignment to contribute to the key missions of the Market Intelligence team, including:

  • Adhoc analysis
  • Market sizing analysis
  • Trends in vertical markets
  • Identification of key players in regions or vertical markets
  • Venues profiling
  •  Market & Competitors monitoring
  • Leads identification
  • Forecast models
  • Prospective research

Key responsibilities

The Market intel analyst Intern will play a key role in seeking information via desk research and ensure its exploitation (Source referencing, Exploitation of Media monitoring tools and internal sources.

The analyst will have to structure and streamline the consolidation of large amounts of data under Excel and ensure its quality and consistency across multiple sources and develop maintenance and quality check procedures and propose improvements in data workflow.

In addition, the intern will be given the responsibility to conduct a full research project on prospective markets (sizing, segmentation, assessment of business potential, etc..).

Will report to Director of Market Intelligence

Skills

Hard skills:

  • Mastery of Excel in large and complex datasets
  • Mastery of IA research tools (Copilot 365)
  • Knowledge of Monitoring tools (Valona, Meltwater, Digimind, etc…)
  • Power BI, Databases, CRM a plus.
  • English proficiency

Soft skills

  • Rigorous and Analytical – precise methodology & meticulous analysis for accurate insights
  • Synthetic – capable of delivering straightforward insights from complex data
  • Curious about the AV / music industry: remained fully informed on market trends and industry’s latest developments, etc.
  • Proactive on market intel: stay updated on Market Intel new tools, sources, providers, technologies…
  • Autonomy

Experience & training

  • Master or equivalent in Market Research/ Intelligence
  • Master or equivalent in Statistics/Data
  • Business Administration with major in quantitative analysis/data management
  • Master of Science + Business comp cycle/Data scientist

Plus

  • International environment
  • Passion for music, performing arts or sound
