    JOB DESCRIPTION

    As a key member, you will ensure efficient staff administration and actively participate in the continuous improvement of HR processes. This role demands precision in managing employee records, involvement in payroll processing, and a collaborative spirit to enhance the overall efficiency of the HR department.

    As a HR & Payroll Specialist you'll be entrusted with the timely and accurate execution of payroll processes for both France and Spain, meticulously managing all associated deadlines and tasks each month. You will be responsible for preparing variable elements of payroll, overseeing the management of various HR suppliers such as pension and health insurance providers, and producing detailed payroll reports for seamless integration with our finance department's processing routines. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of resolution for any payroll-related inquiries, ensuring any issues are addressed promptly and efficiently

    Payroll

    • Guarantee timely and accurate payroll for France and Spain.
    • Handle variable payroll elements and HR supplier (payroll is outsourced).
    • Prepare payroll reports and coordinate with finance.

    Employee Administration 

    • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
    • Handle employee life cycle changes and documentation.
    • Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day operational HR issues.

    Process improvement

    • Responsible for the creation and ongoing update of internal documentation regarding our HR processes within Notion
    • Maintain and develop payroll policies.

    Legal Compliance

    • Prepare Works Council topics.
    • Address employee matters with empathy and solutions.

      REQUIRED PROFILE

      We're looking for a candidate with 2-3 years of HR experience, skilled in payroll, French employment law, Works Council (CSE), employee relations, and compliance.

      Hard-Technical Skills:

      • Knowledge of French labour law and related legislation.
      • Proficiency in project management and collaboration.
      • Bilingual in French and English; Spanish is a plus.
      • Advanced Excel skills for HR management

      Soft Skills:

      • Attention to detail and error detection.
      • Integrity and confidentiality with sensitive information.
      • Continuous improvement mindset.
      • Customer-focused approach and solution-oriented.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Proactive and able to take initiative.
      • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

      Additionally, a valid residence permit allowing work in France is a necessary requirement.

      Office located in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, with a flexible approach to remote work (approximately 40% remote work) + possibility of full telecommuting if needed.
