The purpose of this position is to assist the System Assurance Engineer in Dubai Metro for processing the ACCA applications and support in coordinating with the internal stakeholders and external parties involved to ensure the application is processed in a timely & diligent manner. The This position also to support ACCA department in maintaining the Asset Configuration Change Application (ACCA) Register.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintaining the Asset Configuration Change Application Register
• Support System Assurance Engineer in creating necessary statistics on ACCA’s
• Participate to the development and support the implementation of the paperless ACCA process and any other initiatives time to time
• Coordinate with the ACCA applicant to ensure the application form with sufficient quality of information is received and where necessary meeting is organised between System Assurance Engineer and applicant.
• Coordinate with the Configuration Change Sponsors to ensure the ACCAs are completed in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with the Stakeholder representatives involved in the ACCA review to ensure the ACCAs are completed in a timely manner
• Identify areas for Change Management process improvements
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures, including Engineering & Maintenance procedures;
• Perform and carry out other duties as instructed / directed by the Configuration Change and Network Access Manager and Engineering Manager
• Ensure compliance with the Keolis-MHI Management System and all relevant business processes, procedures and work instructions to deliver all work with appropriate quality and governance standards
• Ensure security and integrity of all data provided including reporting performance, finance and customer information; reference Keolis-MHI non-disclosure policy
• Ensure compliance with all training requirements of Keolis-MHI and ensure adherence to these requirements at all times whilst in employment
• Report any accidents, incidents, breaches or potential breaches to appropriate management or the speak up process

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

• Thorough understanding of the engineering works and ability to interpret instructions in a variety of written, verbal, pictorial forms in order to carry out the effective coordination as required;
• Thorough understanding of the range of operating principles associated with Metro infrastructure.
• Understanding of various subsystems in Metro and their collective dependencies on each other on the way these are configured. Must have prior work experience on working with one or more of the subsystems and expected to understand other subsystems.
• Good understanding of projects & construction practices
• Good understanding of risk assessment. Any certification related to the safety shall be a definite advantage.
• Involvement in maintenance, construction, T&C, supervision, document controls, designs, thorough understanding of all aspects related to railway operations will be a definite advantage.

KEY SKILLS

• Good numerical and PC skills including the use of MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, Power BI etc.), incorporating Excel formula;
• Good written skills, including experience of writing analytical reports, technical reports, routine business correspondence and presentations;
• Highly motivated and flexible to be able to work in a time-sensitive environment and respond quickly and effectively to unanticipated high workloads, events and emergencies;
• Good verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, including senior management and ground-based staff;
• Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities and work productively in a fast-paced team-orientated environment;
• Strong ability to translate complex reporting/analysis requirements into meaningful insights based on the target audience.

EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of 2 years of work experience in the rail industry will be desirable;
• Working Knowledge of Engineering Change Management
• Worked on the designs, project design documentation specially related to railways will be added advantage.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFCATION

• Engineering graduate in either Electrical, Civil,Transportation / Automobile , Mechanical engineering & its related branches.
• Safety training such as NEBOSH, IOSH managing safely etc. will be desirable
