As a Project Manager Operations Intern, you will join our Business Operations Team in Paris and work closely with Clément, our Operations Manager and Frédéric, our Head of Business Operations.
Within the Business Operations team, you will actively contribute to the management and monitoring of operations across all cities where pony is deployed. You will be involved in diverse, hands-on, high-impact projects, including:
Preparing and monitoring new city launches
Optimising processes for maintenance and deployment
Supporting logistics operations
You will have the chance to contribute to exciting projects right away, such as supporting the launch of e-scooters in Bordeaux, projects where your work will have a direct and tangible impact.
Project Management: Working closely with Clément, you will coordinate operational projects on the ground and follow them from planning to execution. You will ensure that all tasks run smoothly while mobilising the right teams and resources. Your missions may include:
Improving and maintaining vehicle fleets for safety or aesthetic reasons
Organising fleet transfers between cities
Managing warehouse moves and optimising local hubs
Handling unexpected operational issues and supply chain challenges
Conducting quality audits across different cities
City Launches : You will actively participate in the launch of new cities, taking ownership of the process from preparation to the operational rollout. You will collaborate with all relevant teams at pony to ensure a successful launch. Your missions may include:
Recruiting and training local teams
Transporting, assembling, and activating vehicles for the new city
Defining operational areas, parking zones, and vehicle drop-off points
Testing and validating the pony app on-site
Building local partnerships and supporting pre-launch demonstrations with city officials
Leading the official launch on Day One and monitoring post-launch processes for improvement
Education: Enrolled in a top engineering or business school, looking for a gap year or final-year internship. Previous experience in project management, mobility, or maintenance is a plus.
Project management: Able to support and coordinate projects, set priorities, track progress, and anticipate potential issues.
Hands-on mindset: Comfortable with practical, on-the-ground tasks and a strong interest in operations.
Results-driven: Strong problem-solving skills and a practical mindset.
Adaptable: Comfortable working in a fast-moving, constantly evolving environment.
