Job Responsibilities

This is a newly created role based in Hong Kong. Your mission and ambition are to accelerate Ekimetrics’s Asia Pacific and China footprint, our demand generation engine with Fortune 500 decision makers, and local brand power.

You will report to the Commercial Director APAC for strategy, planning and hands-on execution of high quality with an eye for details; responsible for the coordination of APAC & Greater China marketing and communication activities to generate growth in business.

You will bring the marketing plan to life, in a matrix environment (solution x industry x geography x central marketing), work with multiple stakeholders such as General Manager APAC, Data Scientists to bring consistency and efficiency in everything we do in local markets and the region.

Brand building and awareness

- Contribute to position Ekimetrics APAC and China as a leader in Data science and AI through campaigns, key local partnerships, local thought leadership & content creation

- Increase Ekimetrics awareness in strategic locations in APAC through digital activations, events, conferences, local PR

- Build and Manage content and events calendar to guarantee timely delivery all year long including but not limited to Wechat, Weibo and other China digital channels

- Build impacting brand and lead generation material, narratives, campaigns, stories that make the difference in a competitive environment

- Partner with internal head of solutions and verticals, to be able to promote the right offers & the right narrative to secure a top market fit

- Manage local agencies and freelancers (media, PR, lead gen & digital) to derive superior business results

Demand generation

- Define local marketing initiatives to grow a qualified local database and generate sales opportunities with Fortune 500 (new contacts, new logos, upsell, cross-sell TBD)

- Collaborate closely with leads of solutions and industries to build campaigns and marketing initiatives that feed the sales pipeline with MQL, SQL, deals, targeting specific personas, segments, and geographies

- Collaborate closely with local peers, head of offers, head of verticals, the thought leadership lead, the innovation team etc.

- Be the local orchestrator of marketing plan, reporting, execution and tracking of all APAC marketing activities, e.g. content, events, media hits, leads, ERP implementation etc.

- Track local activities with the right KPI, measure ROI on all marketing initiatives leveraging central templates and frameworks, participate to quarterly marketing business review in line with the central marketing team

Your Profile

BA/BS required; Master’s degree is desirable

6+ years in field marketing and demand generation

Track record of delivering integrated marketing & Communication programs at scale for APAC an/or China market; industry experience in e-commerce/technology/data analytics highly preferred

China market knowledge and marketing implementation is essential

Highly proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua)

Entrepreneurial ‘can-do’ mindset  

Team player with the ability to foster strong relationships across multiple levels and functions within a global organization

Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Marketing Executive position
