Your Role at Echo

As the VP of Marketing, you'll play a key role in shaping our marketing strategy and keeping a close eye on market dynamics for Echo.

Working closely with our sales and product teams, your focus is on crafting a compelling value proposition. Leading a team of four, you'll ensure that our potential clients not only hear about it but truly understand its value.

Our marketing team thrives on collaboration and creativity, and as the team manager, you'll be the driving force behind these qualities. Your goal is to create an environment where creativity flourishes and teamwork is seamless.

Your main challenge is significant: achieving Echo's ambitious 2024 goals. This involves not only hitting targets but also structuring the company and your team to meet the evolving needs of geospatial data now and in the future.

As such, your main responsibilities will be:

• Lead the development and implementation of Echo's marketing strategy and initiatives
• Collaborate closely with the COMEX and management team to achieve business objectives
• Provide daily management and guidance to the marketing team, emphasizing the importance of mentorship and support in fostering a collaborative and effective work environment
• Collaborate with the team to establish a robust inbound marketing system, complementing the efforts of the sales team's outbound activities
• Focus on enhancing Echo's global brand awareness and reinforcing key brand attributes for continued success
• Emphasize the value proposition: at Echo, we're not just selling data; we're sharing knowledge

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum of 8 years of pertinent experience in marketing, especially within the beauty, cosmetics, automotive, fintech, or consumer tech sectors
• A track record of at least 5 years in managerial roles, showcasing effective servant-leadership style and team management
• Exhibit strategic thinking coupled with analytical skills to navigate complex product landscapes
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with effective communication abilities
• Proven ability as a people manager, emphasizing the importance of team development and collaboration
• Balance strategic thinking with hands-on capabilities, ready to dive in and assist the team when needed
