Role Overview

We are seeking our first Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role involves joining a growing technical team of four Senior Engineers, operating within an established DevOps culture, and reporting directly to Titouan (CoFounder & CTO). As an expert in your field, you will be involved in key technical decisions and will shape the infrastructure roadmap.

Our infrastructure is hosted on AWS Cloud and is entirely managed as code with Terraform. We utilize a secure three-tier architecture featuring an EKS (Kubernetes) cluster to manage primary API workloads. All systems are monitored using Datadog as our central supervision hub.

We are SOC2 compliant, with monitoring managed by Vanta, and anticipate achieving ISO27001 compliance in 2024.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain modern infrastructure and dev tools to increase DX and productivity (Karpenter, Fargate, ArgoCD, Kustomize, AWS Connect OIDC, Kong, Nx…)

• Improve reliability and security of the infrastructure

• Design infrastructure to be ISO27001 compliant and stay SOC2 compliant

• Refine the monitoring and alerting system

• Plan for schedule maintenance

• Load testing and more

Technical Stack

Our main language is TypeScript. Previous experience with our entire stack is not a necessity but willingness to learn is a must!

• 6+ years in infrastructure on AWS, preferably in a venture-backed startup. Experience in B2B SaaS or Fintech is a plus.

• Proven ability to build, manage, and scale cloud infrastructure in high-growth environment

• Technical expertise in your field

  • AWS - strong knowledge

  • Terraform/Terragrunt/CDKTF TS - good knowledge

  • Licence and AWS certifications is a plus

  • Has participated in ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCIDSS, … certification is a plus

• Tech Assessment: 1h technical interview with the CTO or another member of the tech team. You will be asked to present a past project you worked on to understand your approach to infrastructure engineering and evaluate your skills, methodology & communication
