The Role

The Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring supply of raw materials for the two production sites in Paris and South San Francisco, by guaranteeing an optimal stock and ensuring compliance with deadlines with suppliers. The Supply Planner is also in charge of the updating and reliability of information within the ERP (Creation of items, bill of materials and manufacturing routings…).

The Supply Planner reports to the Manufacturing Planning Manager and has a close working relationship to their peers at Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Finance, R&D organization and Product Development.

Main Responsibilities

  • Run and analyze the MRP with the Manufacturing Planning Manager (configuration of the MRP: safety, stock, lot size, lead time…)
  • Generate Purchase Orders of consumables and transfer these POs to the suppliers
  • Ensure the follow-up of raw materials replenishment by guaranteeing the reliability and the respect of the delivery deadlines of the suppliers; with a close collaboration with the purchasing team
  • Update the order date of delivery in the ERP and alert if it impacts production planning
  • Generate supplier performance KPIs via the EPR
  • Update of the database of the ERP: creation of new references, replacements, items out of production
  • Update the BOMs, the manufacturing routing in order to be as close as possible to the reality of production
  • Guarantee stock optimization
  • Interface with finance on invoicing
  • Settle customer disputes, returns and non-conformities

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Business school or engineering M2 with a specialization in Supply chain / Manufacturing
  • Fluent in English (daily working language)
  • Good knowledge of Excel & VBA
  • Nice to have : First experience in Supply Chain or Manufacturing, in the field of supplier management or planning
  • Nice to have : First experience with and ERP (ideally Netsuite)
  • Nice to have: Good knowledge of PowerBI
