You will provide second level of Transportation Management System application support to DHL Freight business unit in order to ensure the maximum availability and minimal disruption to business continuity.


YOUR DAILY TASKS:
  • Deliver application support within Service Level Agreements to freight business users according to ITS processes with the main focus on Incident and Problem Management
  • Demonstrate ownership of assigned events and incidents through to restoration and collaborate with other support teams within the organization and external suppliers
  • Coordinate activities and communicate with impacted stakeholders as per incident management process
  • Maintain the knowledge of supported applications
  • Support delivery of projects throughout their lifecycle
  • Seek to continuously improve efficiency within supported applications
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call support (paid extra)

Požadavky na pozici

  • Previous experience in application support
  • Strong analytical thinking, very good communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with LINUX operating systems
  • Practical experience with any RDBMS, proficiency in SQL
  • Good time-management, organizational, multi-task and prioritization skills
  • Advanced English

nice to have:

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task to achieve goals and deadlines
  • Knowledge of any common scripting languages e.g. BASH, Java SE, etc. and Service Now
  • Experience in debugging, automated testing, 24/7 on call support
  • ITIL Foundation V3 certificated
