Job description

The Account Executive will be responsible for accelerating Dessia’s commercial growth by converting strong inbound demand into long-term customers, while also developing outbound opportunities on strategic industrial accounts across the EMEA region.

Based within the Paris team, you will own the full sales cycle, from qualification to closing, working closely with the CEO and the marketing team to structure and continuously improve the sales approach in a high-impact, scaling environment.

Dessia develops an AI SaaS platform that enables engineering teams (automotive & aerospace) to automate and optimize complex design and decision-making processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Run qualification and discovery calls with inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns (EMEA).

  • Execute an outbound prospecting strategy to identify, engage, and grow new accounts while maintaining a strong pipeline.

  • Understand customer challenges and position Dessia’s platform as a high-value solution for advanced engineering teams.

  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle: product demos, negotiation, and closing.

  • Work closely with the CEO on early-stage discussions and ensure smooth handover throughout deal progression.

  • Consistently meet and exceed targets through a consultative, value-driven sales approach.

Work environment and conditions

The role is based in Paris, within a growing team supporting international expansion.
You will work closely with the CEO and marketing to convert inbound demand and build a strategic approach to developing high-potential industrial accounts.


Požadavky na pozici

Required skills

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in SaaS / software sales, ideally in engineering, industrial, or manufacturing environments.

  • Familiarity with the PLM, CAD/CAM, CAE, or engineering software ecosystem (highly valued).

  • Ability to balance high-volume outbound activity with structured inbound lead management.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Fluent in French and English.

Personal qualities

  • High ownership, strong organizational skills, and comfort working in a fast-paced scale-up environment.

  • Field-driven, consultative mindset with the ability to understand technical topics and clearly articulate customer value.

Education and background

  • Open to candidates with proven SaaS sales experience and exposure to engineering in the industrial sectors.
