We’re looking for a Finance & Strategy Intern to join our Paris team. In this role, you’ll help us drive effective decision-making through rigorous financial analysis and support the long-term value creation of Deliveroo France.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining the France Finance and Strategy team. We are a dynamic group focused on facilitating world-class execution, sharing business drivers, and managing risks while uncovering new opportunities in a fast-evolving market.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

• Drive Financial Performance: Support the tracking and analysis of financial performance against reforecasts and annual targets, with a specific focus on marketing spend.

• Collaborate on Forecasting: Partner with business teams on the monthly reforecast process to ensure absolute exhaustivity and accuracy.

• Ensure Financial Integrity: Participate in month-end processes to ensure the accuracy of financial accounts and assist in preparing analysis for senior management.

• Optimise Operations: Continuously collaborate with the wider team to improve efficiency by building new analytical tools and streamlining processes.

• Deliver Ad-hoc Insights: Execute deep-dive projects and bespoke financial analysis based on evolving business needs and market trends.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

Essential:

• Analytical Rigour: Advanced Excel skills and a proven ability to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines.

• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively as a team player.

• Language Proficiency: Fluent and comfortable working professionally in both French and English.

• Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to support complex projects involving multiple stakeholders across different functions.

• Academic Background: Currently pursuing a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with a foundational understanding of the financial sector.

Nice to Have:

• Technical Tools: Knowledge of SQL or experience with data visualisation tools.

• Field Curiosity: A willingness to go into the field to transform real-world observations into data-backed hypotheses.
