The Senior HR Project Manager will play an integral role in overseeing the delivery of HR projects that underpin our broader People strategy. Reporting to the Director of Employee Experience, and working closely with the People team and business leaders, the role will blend knowledge of HR process, policies and best practice with a deep understanding of the project management discipline.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing multiple HR projects of varying sizes and complexity, including global company-wide HR process, policy and technology transformations
  • Applying project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems;
  • Working closely with various HR partners and business leaders to deliver on HR initiatives and key strategic priorities.
  • Schedule Management - Creates, manages, and understands impacts to project scope, constraints and schedule. Manages projects according to work plan. Performs critical path analysis.
  • Change and Communication Management - Creates performance and status reports for relevant stakeholders.  Develops change and communication plans to reduce disruption and drive user adoption.
  • Risk & Issue Management - Develops and manages project risk. Analyzes risks to assess their impact on project delivery. Implements procedures to mitigate risk threats and/or determines an alternate solution.
  • Resource Management - Identifies and coordinates internal resources for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Quality Management – Defines processes and standards around governance, communication, and quality. Develops deliverable acceptance plans and  supports definition of critical success factors.
  • Integration Management - Identifies and manages project and program interdependencies.
  • Change Request Management - Identifies and develops strategy for changes in scope, schedule, and cost. Develops strategic rationale for change including costs, benefits, tradeoffs, etc.
  • Stakeholder management - Balances stakeholder needs and successfully negotiates appropriate compromises between scope, schedule and budget.
  • What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional project management experience, with a deep understanding of the discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and implement strategic HR projects in a global matrixed environment, with experience across the full project lifecycle (i.e from vision to value)
  • A practical understanding of HR processes and practices, and experience implementing/improving them within complex organizations
  • Ability to present sound and well-reasoned arguments and influence others
  • Extensive data management experience with ability to interpret complex concepts/datasets, present findings back to key stakeholders and inform data driven decisions
  • Interest in keeping up-to-date with developments in project management and HR and applying novel techniques
  • Excellent presentation(PPT/Google Doc) and excel skills
  • Strong execution-focus, with an ability to remain flexible and hold organization accountable to drive various HR initiatives
  • Understanding of the change management fundamentals required to drive adoption and deliver intended project outcomes
  • Ability to work with a global customer base and different cultures
