Popis pozice

Contentsquare is a digital experience analytics company dedicated to making the digital world more human through online experiences built on trust, privacy, and accessibility. Since our founding in France in 2012, we have grown to be a truly global team, representing more than 70 nationalities in offices across the world, including New York, London, Paris, Munich, San Francisco, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Tel Aviv, Tokyo, Singapore, and more.

We’ve been recognized by Frost & Sullivan as a Global Company of the Year, and by Wired Magazine as one of Europe’s hottest startups. In July of 2022, we raised $600M in Series F funding, doubling our valuation to $5.6B. But we’re not stopping there.

To reach our ambitious goals for the future, we will be nearly doubling the size of our global workforce in the next 2 years. Want to learn, innovate and contribute your unique perspective to an industry leader? Join the team dedicated to bringing more human analytics to the world!

Contentsquare x Impact

We are proud of these achievements. But we’ve also come to believe that our story needs to be more than just the sum of our business metrics. In the words of our founder, “Our growth must have meaning. We can’t become one of the greatest software companies in the world if our company isn’t good for the world.” That same year, we pledged to mobilize those very advantages to become a force for positive change. We also welcomed our Chief Impact Officer, who is now building out one of the first Impact Teams inside a unicorn. We’re assembling a diverse group of talented individuals to move the needle in areas such as digital accessibility, data ethics, DEI, sustainability and startup philanthropy. This team will show that not only should startup growth go together with progress, but also that–with enough grit, ambition and soul–it actually can.

In a nutshell

As an Advocacy Operations Manager, you will be responsible for articulating and helping to communicate the impact team’s mission(s) and initiatives both internally and to the world. We’re going to need advocacy to advance Contentquare’s impact goals, and that’s also where you come in — helping us mobilize the entire team around what is essentially a new pillar for us, but also tapping into advocacy networks beyond our own org.  Contentsquare is at the very beginning of its impact journey, and the Advocacy Operations Manager will play a key role in the writing of this new chapter. You’ll be working closely with other members of the impact team to develop these narratives and to prepare and oversee communications plans for specific audiences (CSquad, ecosystem, media etc). You will also work closely with the Corporate Communications Team (PR and social), to build out the impact communications strategy, developing messaging, press releases, contributed articles and any other communications that will help raise awareness around this new movement within Contentsquare.

About the Role (how you will make an impact):

  • Engage, inspire, rally. We think impact is a team-wide priority so we’re counting on you to help engage our 1,600-strong employee base as well as our external partners, clients and other stakeholders. Identify opportunities for thought leadership around our key impact pillars (DEI, Digital Accessibility, Sustainability and Digital Trust), and help drive interest in Contentsquare through the authentic articulation of our burgeoning impact journey.Ex. Collaborate with internal comms team to drive registration to a webinar, work with employee brand team to share internal activities, prep impact team spokespeople for tier 1 speaking events etc.
  • Owning the message. There are several functions and focuses within the impact team, and we need our objectives, progress and achievements to be communicated clearly and effectively to all relevant audiences. You will create visibility within the organization and play a key role in keeping the CSquad informed, making sure impact is everyone’s business at Contentsquare. When it comes to external-facing comms, you’ll be figuring out what we communicate, to who, and how & when, collaborating closely with the extended corporate marketing team to integrate impact into the Contentsquare growth story.Ex. Write messaging FAQs, press releases, prepare briefings for spokespersons, help design social media campaigns etc
  • Building strategies and roadmaps. You will research and develop communications strategies around impact initiatives, campaigns and projects, creating exhaustive activation plans for everything from events to white papers. From awareness campaigns to partnerships, impact reports to results updates, you’ll help set the communications objectives and drive all phases of activation — from message development to reportingEx. Monitor evolving trends on ESG standards, create a detailed comms plan to engage our stakeholders around a commitment to reduce environmental impact in our operations, develop client and prospect outreach messaging around a new digital a11y pledge, build a list of digital a11y influencers to engage over time,  etc.
  • Who you’ll be reporting to.  This role sits inside the Impact team, reporting to our Head of Global Corporate Communications, with a dotted line into our Chief Impact Officer.
  • About You:

  • Speaks. GTD – Yes, you are completely fluent in Getting Things Done. You can work across multiple teams from product to PR and juggle constant deadlines gracefully.
  • Loves. Advocating for social and environmental change. Cheesy, but true.
  • Hates. Greenwashing and impact washing. With a vengeance. You think the hallmarks of any good communication are humility, transparency and authenticity. You know the best practices — and pitfalls — of ESG and impact comms and you are not one for vague or hollow statements.
  • Work style. No nonsense system thinker (and doer). To succeed, you’ll need to be an information-seeker, verification enthusiast and understand how to use various channels to reach specific audiences. You will own messaging consistency around impact and you will ensure everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet. A day-to-day part of this role requires developing the messages that will resonate with our stakeholders and building the framework to engage our ecosystem around our various impact missions and initiatives.
  • Background. We are diploma-agnostic for this position. Your track record will speak for itself. We’re looking for at least 5+ years of experience in a communication or public affairs related role, and at least 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a Impact Team is not a prerequisite for this position. To succeed in this role, you will however need to be genuinely passionate about the mechanisms behind social change. Bonus points for experience running grassroots (Read: volunteer or non-profit) advocacy operations.
  • By applying to this role, you will be given the option to work from London, Amsterdam or Paris (Contentsquare’s merry HQ.) We are however open to hiring someone based elsewhere in Europe semi-remotely, provided it costs less than 4.5 kg CO2 per passenger journey to get to Paris.
