Job description

We are looking for a  Business Analyst (Network Planning) to join the Operated Buses team. The Network Analyst team is in charge of designing the bus network to match supply and demand. As a Network Analyst, you will build, monitor, analyze and improve the offer of part of the network. You will need an understanding of the competitive environment and the market of the area of in order to attempt the economic objectives of the company.

Your responsibilities

  • Be the end-to-end owner of your line portfolio, from the budget phase all the way down to ensuring your bus offer is on sale
  • Conduct data analysis, interpret and use these to design the routes/schedules to build the network for a specific zone (frequency, stops, time schedules, connections, etc.). You could be looking at which all year round new destination in Europe we want to launch next year or which local summer festivals we want to temporarily add in our network to address punctual demand
  • Coordinate all internal stakeholders to ensure your strategies are well implemented and delivered on time
  • Monitor the economic performance of bus lines, identify weaknesses through data and proactively develop strategies to improve its performance
  • Your qualifications

  • You have a masters degree in Engineering, Business, Transport Management, Transport and Mobility or Quantitative Economy
  • 1-3 years experience, ideally in a data driven role or related to mobility and transport planning
  • You have excellent communication skills, you’re humble, and you enjoy sharing & learning from others
  • You embrace change, are able to take a step back, prioritize, and focus on added-value tasks
  • You have a results-driven and impact-oriented mindset
  • Fluency in English and French
