Popis pozice

Alice & Bob is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer to solve the world’s hardest problems.

The quantum computer we envision building is based on a new kind of superconducting qubit: the Schrödinger cat qubit 🐈‍⬛. In comparison to other superconducting platforms, cat qubits have the astonishing ability to implement quantum error correction autonomously!

We're a diverse team of 140+ brilliant minds from over 20 countries united by a single goal: to revolutionise computing with a practical fault-tolerant quantum machine. Are you ready to take on unprecedented challenges and contribute to revolutionising technology? Join us, and let's shape the future of quantum computing together!

We are looking for a curious and proactive Strategic Ecosystem and Partnerships Intern who wants to understand how technical organizations operate behind the scenes. In this role, you will work with engineers, product teams and operational leaders to map the external ecosystem that supports our work, structure key information and contribute to the development of internal tools used in decision-making.

This internship is a strong fit for engineering students who want to combine technical understanding with exposure to strategy, partnerships and organizational design. It is also well suited for students with entrepreneurial ambition who want to learn how deep-tech companies coordinate technology, collaboration and growth.

Responsibilities:

  •  Ecosystem Mapping & Analysis:
  • Take part in a structured technical onboarding to understand the key principles behind our technology and internal workflows, for a systems-level view of how a deep-tech company operates.
  • Apply engineering reasoning and analytical skills to map how external actors such as suppliers, partners, service providers and research collaborators contribute to our development activities.
  • Build and maintain a structured, high-level representation of our external ecosystem,
  • Produce diagrams, ecosystem maps and concise summaries that help teams make informed decisions and maintain clarity as the organization grows.
  • Process & Tooling Development:
  • Participate in the design and prototyping of an internal tool or dashboard that centralizes knowledge on external actors and ongoing interactions.
  • Define the data model, information structure and update workflows, with a focus on robustness, usability and long-term maintainability.
  • Work with end-users such as engineers, product managers and operations teams to understand their needs, design useful features and iterate on improvements.
  • Contribute to shaping internal processes related to information tracking and knowledge management.
  • Collaboration & Documentation:
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, operations and strategy teams to gather information, validate findings and refine ecosystem insights:  a broad, 360-degree perspective on how technical and organizational decisions connect.
  • Present ecosystem views and analytical results clearly and concisely to internal stakeholders in order to support alignment and reduce information silos.
  • Maintain structured documentation of your methodology, data fields, mapping logic and update procedures so that the work remains useful and sustainable beyond the internship.
  • Requirements:

  • We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented student eager to work in a high-impact deep-tech environment at the interface of technology, strategy, and operations.
  • Education:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Students from business/management programs with strong technical literacy are also encouraged to apply.
  • Duration:
  • Available for a 5–6 month internship, ideally starting Q1 2026.
  • Technical Skills (Required / Highly Recommended):
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to understand technical concepts.
  • Familiarity with basic scripting or tooling (e.g., Python, SQL, dashboards, or similar tools).
  • Comfortable organizing and structuring data (Excel, Notion, Airtable, or equivalents).
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to complex domains.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative.
  • Strong communication and synthesis abilities.
  • Attention to detail and structured working style.
  • Curiosity and willingness to engage with both technical and organizational topics.
  • Language:
  • Professional-level English proficiency, both written and spoken, is required for cross-team communication.
