As Akur8 continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Specialist with at least 10 years of proven track record in enterprise software sales. The role will focus on driving new business and expanding Akur8’s footprint by selling our Deploy – Pricing Engine solution. This new module addresses a major issue at the core of the process: deploying a specific price for a specific client within a complex insurance system of models and risks.
You will lead complex, high-value sales cycles with insurance carriers and other industry stakeholders. These deals typically involve long sales cycles and require close collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including actuarial teams, IT departments, and senior decision-makers.
As a Senior Sales Specialist, your typical set of missions include:
Own the full sales cycle for Akur8’s Deploy Pricing Engine, from prospecting to contract signature.
Build and manage strong, trust-based relationships with C-level executives, actuarial teams, and IT stakeholders.
Understand customer needs in depth, especially at the intersection of actuarial science and technology, and translate them into tailored value propositions.
Partner with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Actuarial Data Scientist…) to ensure client requirements are met.
Develop and execute account strategies for complex and strategic opportunities.
Negotiate contracts with a focus on long-term partnership and customer success.
Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
Travel with the purpose of attending client meetings, events and internal gatherings will be required for this position.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
10+ years of successful experience in enterprise B2B sales, ideally within insurance, financial services, or SaaS solutions.
Demonstrated success selling SaaS products, ideally with a focus on new business sales.
HARD SKILLS
Strong track record of managing and closing complex, high-value deals with long sales cycles.
Ability to engage credibly with both actuarial experts and IT decision-makers.
Strong business acumen with the ability to understand technical products and convey their value to diverse stakeholders.
You have proven experience in new business development and a track record of mastering sales strategies for complex tech SaaS products
You have experience with hands-on lead generation activities (incl. cold calling, networking, participating in events etc)
You are familiar with sales protocols and SaaS company processes, use of CRMs, Slack communication, multi-teams interactions.
You understand how to work with technical teams and navigate a global company.
SOFT SKILLS
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Fluency in English & French; other languages (especially German or Spanish) are a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable working in a multicultural and international environment.
