Synology France is looking for a motivated candidate to join us as a Marketing and PR Specialist H/F.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Synology’s brand presence and product outreach. You will get the chance to focus on the following aspects:
PR Expertise:
- Media & Influencer Relations: Shape and nurture relationships with media outlets and influential journalists to amplify our product visibility.
- Blogger and Influencer Engagement: Develop strong connections with specialized bloggers and key opinion leaders to boost product recognition.
- PR Orchestration: Meticulously coordinate all sides of public relations activities with precision.
- Promotion Management: Organize product reviews and advertising campaigns in both print magazines and online platforms, enhancing our market footprint.
- Media Engagement Excellence: Develop a systematic, well-organized, and scalable playbook for engagement with reporters, podcasts, and other media platforms.
- Innovate: Assist in the creation innovative marketing initiatives and the utilization of new technologies to reach the Synology audience and communicate through different channels.
- Thought Leadership Development: Create closely with the International Marketing Manager or +1 thought leadership and storytelling opportunities using data, insights, customer stories, and the voices of our leadership to foster a positive perception of our brand.
- PR Plan Development: Define the marketing plan biannually, ensuring a clear roadmap for our marketing initiatives.
Marketing Expertise:
- Product Enthusiasm Cultivation: Collaborate with our International Marketing Manager or +1 to ignite external and internal product enthusiasm while crafting compelling product campaigns.
- Marketing Strategy Leadership: Assist the development of marketing strategies by prioritizing tasks and ensuring compliance with deadlines.
- Newsletter Strategy: Create and deliver newsletters in accordance with a meticulously designed plan.
- Marketing Materials Design: Artfully design marketing materials and provide invaluable support to sales teams, ensuring bespoke marketing collateral aligns with the Marketing manager’s vision.
- Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate Synology’s participation in seminars, conferences, and trade shows. Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure seamless event preparation.
- Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends, offering insightful recommendations on communication strategies.
- Channel Partner Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Sales team to create impactful Channel Marketing activities.
- Social Media Channels: Publishing diversified content and working side by side with the Marketing International manager to develop strategies to improve user engagement and drive enhanced actions across all social media channels.
- Analysis & Reporting: monitor Marketing & Communications initiatives across all the channels to improve them to reach the defined KPIs.
- Educational Background: Hold a Master degree (BAC+5) in Marketing or a related field.
- Experience: A first marketing experience of at least 2 years (internships not included), with a preference for those experienced in the tech market.
- Tech Savvy: Demonstrate a strong understanding of new technologies.
- Organizational Skills: Exhibit excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Proficient in delivering engaging event presentations, webinars, and internal presentations with clarity and confidence.
- Creativity & Reliability: Display creativity, reliability, and punctuality in your work.
- Team Player: Work effectively in an international team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Software Proficiency: Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Adobe Suite tools or similar is a significant advantage.
- Language Skills: Fluent in both written and spoken English and French. Dutch is a very big plus.
