Job description
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Project team, willing to move to our US office in Austin beginning of 2024 for at least a year, under a “VIE” program.
Project Managers are responsible for the deployment of our Smart Fleet Management solution (”SFM”). SFM enables ship owners/ charterers to monitor their maritime operations in real time, supported by cutting-edge analytics. Through our platform, we consolidate data feeds from the vessels to create granular performance models. A key use case is helping clients tackle their GHG emissions, for instance determining the optimal vessel speed under various operating conditions (weather, weight, …).
Project managers hold a pivotal role in the organization, helping coordinate several teams to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
We are aiming to recruit and train someone who would then be able to work on our US projects, from our growing US office in Austin. Austin is a vibrant city in Texas, home to a dynamic start-up and cultural scene. Home to Tesla and Oracle, it is considered as the new Silicon Valley! Ideally, you would move to the US in the beginning of 2024, for a period of 1-2 years under a VIE program (open to EU nationals under 29).
You will report to Grégoire, the Head of Project Management, in Louis’ team (CPO & co-founder).
Your missions include:
Exporting our Spinergie Project methodology to our office in the US
Scoping of prospect needs and framing of technical solution during sales process
Kicking-off SFM projects, to explore client operations and collect data
Setting up new SFM apps and onboarding first users
Handing over SFM apps to Account Managers once rolled-out
Delivering new features to existing SFM clients
Contributing to prioritization of app improvements with Product team
Coordinating with Tech team to prioritize requests from clients, like data integrations

Preferred experience
Preferred experience:
Previous experience in a software company or consulting
Experience in designing and delivering client-focused solutions
Previous experience in the Maritime industry is a plus, but not mandatory
Skills:
Ability to deliver multiple projects in parallel while managing deadlines
Ability to orchestrate collaboration between several stakeholders
Ability to socialize progress and priorities in a clear and concise manner
Proficiency in Excel (basic model-building)
Problem-solving skills & attention to details
Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English
Experience with coding (SQL, Python) & low-code environments is a plus
