We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Engineer with deep expertise in ClickHouse to lead our development efforts for our ClickHouse-based products. As the Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of our ClickHouse-based solutions. You will work closely with other engineers, architects, and product managers to ensure our products are scalable, performant, and reliable..

As a Lead Engineer Clickhouse specialist, you will:

  • Lead the development of our ClickHouse-based solutions, including designing and implementing new features and enhancements
  • Develop and maintain efficient and scalable ClickHouse data models and schemas
  • Work with other engineers, architects, and product managers to define requirements and develop solutions
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, API specifications, and user guides
  • Ensure the quality and reliability of our ClickHouse-based products through testing, debugging, and performance tuning
  • Mentor and train other engineers on ClickHouse best practices and technologies
  • What will contribute to your success:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience working with ClickHouse, including designing and implementing ClickHouse-based solutions at scale
  • Strong expertise in ClickHouse data modelling, schema design, and query optimization
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C++, golang, Python)
  • Experience with distributed systems and large-scale data processing
  • Experience with other related technologies such as Apache KafkaExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Prior experience leading a team of engineers is preferred but not required
