The Tech Team at Partoo

At Partoo, we have a Tech team consisting of 80 people, divided into "Engineering" and "Product" parts. We are organized into Tribes and Impact Teams; currently, we have 4 Tribes and 11 Impact Teams. Each Tribe is led by an Engineering Manager and a Lead Product Manager, and focuses on a specific aspect or axis of the Partoo product (Visibility, Interactions, Empowering, and Core).

Within each Tribe, there are Impact Teams that specialize in a particular product or part of a product. The Feature Teams are mixed designer/product/engineer teams that aim to develop and deploy new features in an agile and continuous way. To do this, they follow the SCRUM methodology with 2-week sprints.

The progression of our employees is fundamental. That's why when you join us, you'll have a coach that you'll see every week to help you progress either on the path of technical expertise or management.

The Mobile team

You will join an Impact Team dedicated to the development of our mobile application for local establishments.

Today, this team is made up of 6 people:

Idris, Mobile Expert / Lead Engineer, is a big fan of React-Native and spends a lot of time discovering the latest developments in this library. Outside of work, he is passionate about football.

Maéva, Product Manager for our mobile app. She loves to laugh and hum whenever a word she hears reminds her of a song. Currently, she travels between Strasbourg and Paris!

Aykut, Mobile Engineer, who worked for 3 years in food tech as a web and mobile developer before joining Partoo in September 2022. He likes to travel, sing, play the guitar, and anything related to nature, plants, gardening, etc.

Paul, Mobile Engineer, who worked previously on the Partoo web app for 3 years before taking on the challenge of the mobile app. In his spare time, he likes to run from March to October before hibernating and starting the raclette season.

Vincent, QA Engineer, finished his engineering studies last year and worked in Israel before coming back to France and joining the Partoo adventure. He enjoys sports (weight training, tennis), going out and laughing.

MISSIONS 🔥

As a Mobile Software Engineer, you'll split your time between developing the product within a feature team and implementing technical projects, called leadership projects, that bring value to the Tech team.

Here are the types of tasks you may be working on:

-> Designing new product interfaces adapted for mobile

-> Integrating web application features into the mobile app while respecting iOS & Android standards

-> Designing new features using mobile-specific features (device type, swipes, etc.)

-> Managing push notifications

In addition to their responsibilities related to product development, each engineer at Partoo takes charge of a leadership project, which allows them to experiment with solutions to problems encountered by the technical team. Here are some examples of projects:

-> Designing the Partoo Design System (Front)

-> Defining best testing practices (Process)
