Patrick began his career at JPMorgan in Paris and London (1997-2003) as a “market-maker” on Treasuries, before joining Deutsche Bank (2003-2007) where he led the complex products trading activities and Inflation products. As a Partner at Goldman Sachs in London (2007 to 2014), Patrick was co-head of the European rates business and member of the Global Operating Committee for Rates. He is now in charge of the development and the day-to-day operations of the platform October.

Patrick is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique.

Claire started her professional career in France and Belgium, working in diverse environment (consulting, media and consumer industry), showing a real ability to learn, adapt and lead a project. She joined October 5 years ago to develop private lenders relations and quickly lead a team of Customer Success Managers across Europe. She is now in charge of October Connect project, coordinating the internal teams and developing the business in Europe.

Claire is graduated from the Grenoble Business School (GEM) with a Master's Degree in Entrepreneurship - ranked 1st Master in Entrepreneurship in France - where she had the chance to study for a year on the Singapore campus.

After a degree in computer science and a master in software architecture, Thibaud worked on web technologies in an ESN based in Nantes where he participated in the development of projects in React and Java in the insurance sector. He then joined October's tech teams as a full-stack developer.

Thibaud is a fan of JavaScript and TypeScript which he uses every day to create and improve October's tools and products.

Sarah was Head of Product at Wynd, a software editor, where she managed, with an Engineering manager, a Tribe (Team) of around 50 people dedicated to supply chain management product. She has been working on Product management for 7 years now. She demonstrated leadership, strategy and management skills. She joined October almost 2 years ago to work on the product strategy and to oversee all elements of the product, from conceptualization to delivery and performance monitoring. She manages a growing team of 4 people at October (2 product managers and 2 product designers).

Sarah has an Engineer degree from l'École Nationale Supérieure des Mines in Saint-Étienne and is graduated from HEC Paris.

Nick was part of the first joiners in the Sales team of October Netherlands 3 years ago. After starting in the international management traineeship program of ING Bank, he has worked in Amsterdam and Frankfurt to gain a deep understanding of client relationship management and financial analysis. At October he helped to build the current customer base of our Dutch business. Next to his sales role, Nick is also involved in the ESG projects at October.

Nick graduated in Japanese studies and Business Studies in Leiden, Tokyo and Amsterdam


October was born in France in 2014 thanks to a new regulation opening up the banking monopoly. October is an online platform specialised in business lending. The FinTech is leader in continental Europe. Its mission can be sum up in three words: "Finance businesses better". "Better" as simpler, faster, more efficient and accessible.

The idea is simple: companies can borrow up to 5 million euros directly on the platform from retail (+40,000 are regularly lending) and institutional lenders. The company can test its eligibility in two minutes, receives an offer within 24-48 hours and the funds within 7 days. October has already financed thousands of SMEs in France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and Germany.

Since the end of 2020, October has been offering its October Connect technology platform to banks (such as Bpifrance) and asset managers to help them make better financing decisions thanks to data.
