Their story
NOOSA was born in Brussels in 2019 in response to the environmental impact of the textile industry. NOOSA is based on a technological breakthrough, so it was natural that the R&D team was the first to develop and today the commercial team is born with a perfected - but continuously improving - product!
After raising €500,000 in March 2020, NOOSA was lucky enough to win the "Most Innovative Startup" award worth €500,000 from the Brussels Capital Region in January 2021. This has allowed the team to grow and accelerate our development.
All our activities are grouped together in our office in Brussels, Anderlecht, except for production which is located in China, for historical reasons and know-how. Eventually, we would also like to offer a European production route and we are working on it!

Sustainable development is the very DNA of our company. Indeed, we have designed our product starting from the end of life and recycling.
In addition to the environmental aspect, we are working to obtain certificates attesting to the good social conditions at our production sites.

Action
In addition to being bio-based and 100% recyclable, we aim to ensure that the overall impact of our product is as low as possible. We also want to help our customers understand the product and to distinguish between the different alternatives available on the market.
To this end, we are continuously improving our Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) which calculates our impact from A to Z and is made available to our customers.
