In a model where the majority of contract and claims management operations are outsourced (more than 90% of our claims expenses are outsourced), Wakam aims to strengthen its post-sales management of outsourced operations.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

The Claims and TPA Project Manager will report direct to the External Ops Team Lead. This position involves both strategic and operational aspects such as :

  • Managing the operational performance of partners in France and abroad (organizing steering committees, implementing action plans).
  • Overseeing the handling of complaints and feedback from end insured.
  • Studying and monitoring fraud based on local specificities.
  • Monitoring and managing unpaid premiums.
  • Serving as the point of contact for outsourced operations for the rest of Wakam on management processes (handling complaints, recovery, management guide, etc.).
  • Studying and formalizing management specificities (recourse, fraud, complaints) at least in Italy and Spain.
  • Contributing to cross-functional projects.

Profile requirements

Qualifications & skills:

  • Education background : Master degree
  • You have a successful experience in the following two areas:
    1. Project management within an insurance, outsourcing services or consulting firm.
    2. Experience in Claims / TPA and/or Partnerships management
  • Not afraid to get hands-on to accelerate project execution.
  • Sharp interpersonal skills allowing comfort and relevance in dealing with important clients.
  • Enjoy working in a team.
  • A good command of English and ideally French also.

Soft skills :

  • Be organized, rigorous, and recognized for coordination and facilitation abilities to ensure the commitment of various contributors.
  • Be proactive in proposing improvements to processes and tools to continually enhance management efficiency.
  • Enjoy challenges and be willing to invest in a startup-like company located in the heart of Paris.

  • Interview with the Lead recruiter - 30 min
  • Interview with the Hiring Manager, External Ops Team Lead and the Head of Underwriting Ops - 1 hour
  • Interview with the Chief Claims Officer UK & Europe - 30 min
  • HR interview with the Head of Talent - 30 min
