General description:
You will be supporting our CFO, Arthur, on a daily basis in the many areas he deals with: finance, legal, HR and communication and more. The coming months will be focused on the expansion of our solution in all Europe, and you will take part of the company’s overall strategic thinking. Furthermore, we will soon start raising funds for our Series A and your help will be crucial to the success of the fundraising!

Daily activities:

FINANCE
• Implementation of processes to increase reporting/management frequency;
• Construction of the business plan for the next round of funding;
• Construction of the investor deck for the next fund raising;
• Preparation of the Due Diligence for the next fund raising;
• Management of the monthly invoices for our partners.

LEGAL
• Setting up, proof-reading and signing of NDAs;
• Proofreading and negotiating contracts with lawyers;
• Management of RGPD issues with our DPO;
• Follow-up of obligations in terms of social law;
• Ensure compliance with EU regulation in the distribution of our products.

HR
• Organisation of the recruitment strategy;
• Organisation of company life (seminar, etc.);
• Manage the employee’s yearly performance review cycle.

COMMUNICATION
• Work on the launch of our products in Italy and Spain;
• Work on product and brand positioning;
• Management of press relations, publications, etc.

Background:
We are looking for someone who is:
• Coming from a high-level education (business school, engineering school or university equivalent).

Language:
We are looking for someone who:
• English speaking: is mandatory as English is Datafolio’ corporate language and will be needed to develop the business across Europe;
• French or Italian speaking: is a big plus (both would be a super plus).

Location:
We are looking for someone who:
• Based in Lille, Paris, Milano, or Rome: where we already have people;
• We are remote-friendly, as our employees mainly work from where their want. However, Business Development will require some physical meetings and being close to our core business locations will be easier (and probably better for our planet 🌱).

• First interview with Arthur, our CFO. Initial call, first questions on your general attitude;
• Second interview with Arthur, more in-depth cross examination to evaluate your understanding of the company and industry;
• (Optional) Presentation to Yuri CEO and founder of Datafolio.
