Under the supervision of our CDO and Head of Insurance, you will use your strong actuarial skills to help design our insurance products, write product documentation and develop our pricing engine.

Main tasks:

- Participate in the development of our pricing engine

- Participate in the construction of a set of resources for risk assessment

- Build and maintain documentation for each product

- Like everyone else at Datafolio, be a driving force in the evolution of our products and user experience.

Background:

- At least 7 years’ experience in actuarial science

- Successful experience in insurance innovation would be highly appreciated

- Excellent knowledge of the actuarial process for mobility

- Highly analytical with a background in statistics

- Comfortable interacting with a team of data scientists

- Knowledge of at least one programming language associated with statistics (python, matlab, R, ect.)

Language

We are looking for someone who :

- Fluent in English

- At ease in French, at least in writing. Fluency in Italian would be a significant bonus

Location

We are looking for someone who is :

- Based in Lille, Paris, Lyon or Toulouse: where we already have staff.

- We support telecommuting, as our employees work mainly from wherever they want. However, some physical meetings will be necessary and it will be easier (and probably better for our planet 🌱 ) to be close to our main business sites
