About the Job

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer II to join the Integrations PU as its most senior technical contributor. In this high-impact role, you’ll help shape the architecture and long-term direction of our integration ecosystem, ensuring scalability, quality and good practices.

Scope -

The Integrations team builds and maintains the infrastructure that connects our platform to the broader ecosystem of third-party tools used by our customers. Our mission is to supercharge the value of our platform by enabling seamless data exchange and workflow automation.

Examples of use cases we support:

• Client-side and server-side session enrichment to power advanced segmentation

• VoC surveys triggering based on real-time behavioral signals

• Importing segment definitions from tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4) or Adobe Analytics (AA)

• Sending alerts and insights to collaboration tools like Slack and MS Teams

We also maintain the merch module jointly with the data connect team.

You’ll work closely with the team lead and product manager to set technical direction, guide architectural decisions, and mentor other engineers. You’ll be a critical voice in ensuring code quality, building architectures that drive extensibility and velocity, and consolidating the technical foundation of the scope to prepare for the CSQ <> Heap platform merger.

What you will do:

  • Act as the technical lead for the team, setting engineering direction and best practices
  • Define and evolve the technical vision for the integrations layer in anticipation of CSQ <> Heap platform merger
  • Drive code quality, maintainability, and performance across the stack
  • Identify and implement structural improvements in our codebase
  • Mentor and support more junior engineers, helping them grow technically
  • Monitoring of RFCs and technical evolutions of the stack to anticipate work needed on our side
  • What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Significant experience designing and building robust, scalable systems
  • A track record of technical leadership
  • Strong architectural thinking, and a pragmatic approach to solving complex problems
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across teams
