✨ Your job as an Operations analyst & underwriting support

AXA Climate, an AXA Group company, is a leading global expert in developing solutions to climate issues.  Our clients are weather-sensitive companies in agriculture, renewable energy, construction, transport, leisure and textiles, as well as international institutions and governments.  We provide advanced parametric insurance solutions using the most advanced technological means. As part of its development, AXA Climate must rely on the best experts (data scientists, agronomists, meteorologists, business developers and underwriters).  AXA Climate offers solutions worldwide through 3 regional hubs: Americas, EMEA, Asia Pacific.  AXA Climate is looking for its new Operations Analyst and Underwriting Support, a candidate with an entrepreneurial mindset who can utilize both coordination and organization skills to successfully manage our parametric portfolio.  This will involve relationship management with strategic partners, such as risk carriers, insurance brokers and large corporate customers. In this role you will be expected to adapt to various missions arising from the portfolio management.  Key accountabilities: 

• Underwriting assistance ;

  <ul><li>Coordinate with AXA Climate’s underwriters and risk carriers’ middle-office teams for insurance and reinsurance policy setup;</li><li>Ensure compliance clearance ;</li><li>Ensure third party accreditation;</li></ul></li><li>Business intelligence;<ul><li>Analyze AXA Climate parametric insurance portfolio;</li><li>Monitor underwriting KPIs (loss ratio, churn rate) ;</li><li>Produce reports for risks carriers ;</li><li>Liaise with risks carriers Finance team for business forecast and account closings ;</li></ul></li><li>Credit Control on parametric portfolio ;<ul><li>Ensure cash collection of premiums to risk carriers, send reminders to brokers/clients;</li><li>Liaise with risks carriers’ Credit control teams and ensure respect of payment deadlines ;</li><li>Ensure commission collection to AXA Climate;</li><li>Produce financial bordereaux and monitor cash collection KPIs achievement ;</li></ul></li><li>Claims management for parametric risks;<ul><li>Ensure fast payout by liaising with risk carriers’ Claims teams worldwide;</li><li>Prepare claimant compliance clearance;</li><li>Liaise with brokers, cedants and clients for payments management;</li></ul></li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div><div><div><div><div><div> </div></div></div></div></div>

About you

 

Background and experience :

• First experience in P&C insurance/reinsurance (back-office, claim, underwriting...)
• Master’s degree in insurance, risk management, project manager or business   

 Technical Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of insurance and reinsurance structures
• Analytical skills 
• Expertise in insurance key performance indicators
• Good English and French required / Other language will be an asset
