Zama’s recently released Zama Confidential Blockchain Protocol enables confidential smart contracts on top of any L1 or L2 using FHE.
This position is in the Zama Coprocessor team. The Coprocessor is a key component of the Zama Protocol, providing decentralized services to verify encrypted inputs’ Zero Knowledge (ZK) proofs and run FHE computations.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated software engineer to join our Coprocessor team, with a primary focus on developing and maintaining the services and components required to offer a reliable and secure solution. You’ll be working shoulder-to-shoulder with a team of esteemed engineers, and play a pivotal role in designing, fine-tuning, and ensuring the sustained excellence of Zama’s Confidential Blockchain solutions.
Only candidates in the US East Coast or Canada (or more broadly within the Eastern time zone UTC-5) are eligible.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the team to design, implement, test, optimize and maintain our Coprocessor services
Help maintain a high level of security, including conducting code reviews.
Work with DevOps to deploy our solution to production.
Participate with the other members of the team to maintain deployed products and ensure consistent availability of service.
Create and maintain documentation.
Collaborate with and provide support to users.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in blockchains.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
3 years of proven experience in software engineering roles.
Experience with Rust development.
Willingness to learn about FHE and ZK.
And additionally:
At least 5 years of proven experience in software engineering roles.
At least 2 years of experience in Rust development.
Solid understanding of blockchains and EVM frameworks.
Experience with AWS.
Understanding of software security principles.
